Apprentice Garage Door Technician Position

Role Overview:

As an Apprentice Garage Door Technician, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals. Your duties will include learning to repair residential garage doors and openers, as well as assisting with the sales and installation of garage doors and openers. You’ll also develop essential customer service skills by interacting with customers daily.

Responsibilities:

Assist experienced technicians in repairing, servicing, and installing garage doors and openers.
Learn to solve customers’ problems using Precision's exclusive products, training, and warranties.
Help create positive customer experiences by delivering excellent service and building long-term relationships.
Work under supervision to develop the skills needed to become an independent Garage Door Technician.

Qualifications:

A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
A dependable attendance record.
A commitment to superior customer service and quality standards.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
A clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Basic mechanical skills are a plus but not required.
A High School Diploma or GED is required; some college coursework is preferred.

Compensation: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Precision Door Service provides residential garage door service. With over 100 locations, our professional and certified technicians repair over 1000 garage doors everyday - nationwide. We also sell and install a wide selection of garage doors and garage door openers.
